Transfer of Spirits

1 Timothy 5:22 - Do not lay hands on anyone hastily, nor share in other people's sins, keep yourself pure.

There are 3 Spirits

1 Corinthians 2:9-12 - But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

In this Scripture we see the three spirits.
1. Spirit of God
2. Spirit of the Man
3. Spirit of the World (the evil one)

1. Spirit of God

Hosea 4:9 - The people shall become like the priest and I will visit his ways upon him, and they shall reward him according to his doings. (Jubilee Bible 2000)

The Spirit of God is transfer to His people. His people release His presence. We should be careful to which people we listen. What kind of spirit, (influence or power) do they release. We can not be alone, we need each other. God has called us to be in a body and be one. We need each other to grow together in the Lord. By being together, we learn to know each other and work together. We learn to trust each other and as we grow we can transfer what God gave us to each other. We must be accountable to each other.

After Peter went to Cornelius he was challenged by the elders in Jerusalem. (Acts 11:1-3, 18). Even Peter had to submit to James and the others on what happened in Caesarea. Paul wanted the right hand of fellowship, meaning protection.

Galatians 2:7-10 - But on the contrary, when they saw that the gospel for the uncircumcised had been committed to me, as the gospel for the circumcised was to Peter for He who worked effectively in Peter for the apostleship to the circumcised also worked effectively in me toward the Gentiles, and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that had been given to me, they gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised. They desired only that we should remember the poor, the very thing which I also was eager to do.

We all need people to look up to and being subject to leadership

Transfer of spirits can come to us by different ways. A person speaking, books we read, videos we watch, cd's and music. The transfer of the Holy Spirit comes through people of God.

Be careful who you listen to. In Hosea 4:9 The priesthood was polluting the people. They were controlling the people. So God judge not only the priests but also the people. When there were false prophets in Israel they corrupted the people. That corrupted spirit came on all the people

Ways how the Spirit of God can be transferred.

a. Breathing
John 20:22 - And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.

b. Laying on of hands
The Holy Spirit was often transfer by the laying on of hands.

Acts 6:6-7 - whom they set before the apostles and when they had prayed, they laid hands on them. Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith.

Acts 19:1-7 - And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples he said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" So they said to him, "We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit." And he said to them, "Into what then were you baptized?" So they said, "Into John's baptism." Then Paul said, "John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus." When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. Now the men were about twelve in all.

Sometimes when a leader must be established, the person do not only receive the Holy Spirit but also the spirit of the person who was ordained by God

Numbers 11:16-17 - So the Lord said to Moses: "Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; bring them to the tabernacle of meeting, that they may stand there with you. Then I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone.

Numbers 11:24-25 - So Moses went out and told the people the words of the Lord, and he gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the tabernacle. Then the Lord came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied, although they never did so again.

2 Timothy 1:1-2 - Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus, To Timothy, a beloved son, Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Timothy 1:5-7 - when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

c. Prayer and Intercession:
Believers can pray for others, asking God to anoint and empower them.

d. Worship and Praise:
Gathering together to worship and praise God can create an atmosphere to invite the manifestation of His spirit.

e. Submission to God:
Living a life submitted to God's will and recognizing His authority can attract and empower the Holy Spirit in individuals.

2. Spirit of the Man

In Numbers 13:26-33 we see another spirit (the spirit of man) which transferred to a nation. The ten spies transferred a spirit of negativity, a spirit of doubt, a spirit of unbelief and a spirit of fear on the nation and they crippled the entire nation. In verse 33 they said: "we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight."

So the way we see ourselves, is the way the enemy see us. And we can transfer that spirit, good or bad, to other people.

Now they departed and came back to Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh; they brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land.

Then they told him, and said: "We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan." Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, "Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it." But the men who had gone up with him said, "We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we." And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, "The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight."

Numbers 14:24 - But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.

The 10 spies transferred their own spirit, the spirit of man. They were in rebellion against God. The spirit of rebellion is the spirit of man. Rebellion opens the door to the evil. Rebellion begins in the human heart.

Therefore it is so dangerous to be around the wrong people. Rebellion is uncountable resistance to an established leadership.

Examples of the human spirit in the Scriptures.

a. Trouble spirit
Genesis 41:8 - Now it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt and all its wise men. And Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them for Pharaoh.

l. Faithful Spirit

Confession control the spirit of man, you can control your spirit by the things you say and the things you don't allow someone to say, break those words in Jesus Name.

Power of confession in Scripture.

Proverbs 16:32 - He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.

Father in the Name of Jesus I destroy ever plan of satan over my life and family and I establish Your plan over my life and family in Jesus Name.

3. Spirit of the World

Demonic enters through gates which people open.
